mBank Employees Provide Year End Support to Local Upper Peninsula Charities

2016 Press Releases Expand

MANISTIQUE, Mich., January 8, 2016 – mBank employees recently made a generous donation totaling over $1,500 to three Upper Peninsula charities. The organizations included; Feeding America West Michigan Food Bank, Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter (UPAWS) and U.P. Honor Flight.

The funds were raised by employees during their mBank holiday party held on December 12th. The intention was to raise money for great local causes while celebrating the season. “We are fortunate to work with such a compassionate group of people. Our company Mission and commitment to improving our communities goes further then what we do inside our bank, our staff truly cares about their neighbors” said Kelly George, President and CEO of mBank.

David Mason, the representative for Feeding America commented:  “We would like to thank mBank for helping us out and providing our communities with nutritious products.”  This Central Upper Peninsula regional nonprofit site provides food to churches and charities in the following counties: Marquette, Alger, Schoolcraft, Dickinson, Delta, and Menominee.
