Congratulations to the Marquette mBank U19 girls hockey team on winning the Michigan Amateur Hockey Association State Championship!

mBank and its Employees Contribute to CBC

The mBank Manistique branch participated in the annual CBC fundraising campaign. CBC stands for the American Cancer Society, Bay Cliff Health Camp, and Community Charity. For the past five years, mBank and its employees have donated over $65,500 to the CBC.

mBank Employees Donate to U.P. Honor Flight

President Scott Knauf of U.P. Honor Flight was very pleased to accept this donation and stated, “Thank you to mBank for supporting us, these proceeds will help fund mission 10.”  U.P. Honor Flight transports local veterans to Washington D.C. to visit the various war memorials constructed in their honor. It is a free trip for the selected veterans.

mBank Fields Team For Donkey Basketball Fundraiser

Eight mBank employees participated in a game of Donkey Basketball to raise money for the Manistique High School Class of 2018. The event was held in the packed gym and was very entertaining, as well as a successful fundraiser!

MFG Day helps connect manufacturing companies with future generations by empowering students to learn of the great career opportunities by touring facilities.

Gaylord Branch Gives Out Backpacks Stuffed with School Supplies

The mBank Gaylord Branch donated 24 backpacks stuffed with school supplies to local children and the Gaylord Community Schools in connection with their branch ‘Family Fun Day’ held in August.

mBank Employees Participate in “Walk to End Alzheimer’s” held in Marquette and Traverse City

Employees raised money all of September through various means including holding bake sales, luncheons, and a cooler giveaway. mBank Donates Funds to Menominee County 4-H Program

mBank funded the construction of the mounting ramp for “Dare to Dream Therapeutic Riders”. This 4-H Club provides horse-riding as a form of therapy for children with various disabilities. The ramps make it easier for mounting and dismounting of the horses.

mBank Makes Generous Donation to Schoolcraft County Sheriff’s Department

Sherriff Norton said the donation was greatly needed and will allow for the purchase of four new vests for his deputies. mBank Marquette Supports STUFF the BUS Event

On August 25th, the mBank Marquette branch showed it’s support for STUFF the BUS hosted at the Holiday Inn of Marquette by the YMCA of Marquette County. mBank Birmingham Teams Up with Easter Seals for Dream Cruise Event

On August 16th, the mBank Birmingham office teamed up with Easter Seals Michigan to host the Dream Cruise and watch the Woodward Dream Cruise celebrate its 20th year. More than 1 million car enthusiasts attended the world’s largest one-day car culture celebration.

mBank of Traverse City Supports Local Charitable Causes

As a responsive corporate citizen, mBank has committed to financially supporting local Traverse City causes by donating $12,000 to help meet community needs in 2013 and 2014:
  • A 2-year pledge totaling $10,000 to Munson Healthcare Regional Foundation in support of the Cowell Family Cancer Center (pictured above).
  • A $1,000 donation to Grand Traverse Regional Community Foundation in support of the Historic Barns Park and Botanic Garden Campaign Fund.
  • A $1,000 donation to SCORE Traverse City, the local chapter of the nonprofit association dedicated to educating entrepreneurs and helping small businesses start, grow and succeed nationwide.

Birmingham Branch Participates in Community Shred Day

On July 25th, the mBank Birmingham branch partnered with the Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber and E-Shred to offer the community a free opportunity to shred their unwanted documents. The event shredded over 3,800 pounds of paper for almost 100 people.

Marquette Branch Holds Blood Drive

To benefit the Upper Peninsula Regional Blood Center, the mBank Marquette branch hosted a Bloodmobile blood drive in the branch parking lot, creating an easy opportunity for clients to participate.

Snowshoers & Skiers Raise Funds for CF Research

Over 50 people turned out in biting winds at Noquemanon Trail to support the ski and snowshoe loppet for Cystic Fibrosis. The event was organized by high school senior Erin Mahaney who suffers from CF; an inherited, progressive genetic disease that affects the lungs and pancreas.

Sault Branch Raises Money for the American Cancer Society

The mBank Sault branch helped raised over $1,400 for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life by hosting a community scavenger hunt and selling walking tacos throughout the day.

mBank Helps Purchase New Snow Plow

With mBank help, the City of Stephenson was able to purchase a brand new snow plow featuring a 12 foot blade that will be sure to get a workout every winter season.
